It is cold out there.
I want to eat chili for every meal and drink coffee all day until it's evening and I transition effortlessly into hot wine.
I don't get to do that. My family is already sick of chili, and I feel awful if I drink too much coffee. (Don't worry, the hot wine is still a go. If you have never tried it, you need to Pinterest that ASAP.)
It is the weirdest time of year, because as much as I want to give myself full freedom to only do the things that feel good right now in the cozy cocoon of my house and holiday gatherings, I do actually want to be able to function outside of those two realms come January and beyond. What I'm trying to say is that I would still like to fit into my jeans in January and not completely wreck my digestion in the meantime.
